Crossgates Veterinary Clinic, located at 5544 Hwy 80 East in Pearl, Mississippi (in front of the Pearl/Brandon Walmart), provides the highest quality medical and surgical care for our clientele in a humane, compassionate, and caring environment.
We have been serving the Brandon, Pearl, Rankin County, and greater Jackson area since 1978. We are a full-service animal hospital and veterinary clinic, and pride ourselves as being one of the only clinics in the state that is AAHA-Accredited. This higher standard of excellence is a priority for us.
At our clinic, we embrace the philosophy of integrative veterinary medicine — combining the best of conventional medicine with complementary therapies such as acupuncture, physical therapy, and nutritional counseling, to provide comprehensive and personalized care for every patient.

Dr. Todd joined Crossgates Veterinary Clinic in 2014, bringing expertise from a Clinical Pathology residency after earning his DVM from Mississippi State University (2012). He grew up on his family's cattle farm in Mendenhall, MS and was the 2017 Mississippi Young Veterinarian of the Year. He currently serves as President of the Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Keri Kennedy Hobby

Dr. Keri is a Brandon native who first worked at CVC as a high school student — inspired to pursue veterinary medicine by our own Dr. Gail. After earning her DVM from MSU and practicing in Pensacola, FL, she returned to Rankin County in 2019 to come home to CVC. She and her husband Zach are dedicated animal lovers.

Dr. Hannah Alexander

Dr. Hannah McCurdy Alexander joined CVC in 2022, returning to the Scott/Rankin County area she grew up in after earning her DVM from Mississippi State (2019) and practicing medicine in Alabama. She and her husband Dr. Will Alexander are proud parents of two daughters — and a lot of furry kids.

Dr. Haley Zetterholm Speegle joined CVC in 2024, returning to her Clinton, MS hometown. She graduated as class president from the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024 and is passionate about surgery, emergency medicine, critical care, and patient comfort across all species. "She has wanted to be a veterinarian since childhood and feels so blessed that she is able to live out her dream."
